The fritzplatz was developed to improve the technical skills of a footballer.

On the one hand the court is surrounded by concrete walls in different heights against which the player can pass or kick the soccer ball. On the other hand a fence encloses the court, so that the football always remains in the field and therefore near the player.
The coach can carry out individual training as well as group training with up to 8 players.
The advantage of the court is the possibility to filter out game situations and refine these in the shortest time. Furthermore the processes can be automated by retrying over and over again.

Thanks to this effective training the player can touch the ball 1000 times within 10 minutes. The player’s ball control, the speed of taking and passing a ball improve optimally. At the same time the player´s self-confidence increases! Another advantage is that you can exclude the strength/power component and therefore pure technical skills can be trained. The ideal time for this special training is the day before a match or the day after a match, for regeneration reasons. The player can absolve his exercises before or after team training without losing strength! The fritzplatz offers optimal conditions for injured player’s looking at returning to team training again. These players can effectively exercise their physical flexibility, coordination and technical skills as well their physical condition. In just 1 hour the player will have overcome many difficult situations and will have touched the ball up to 5000 times.

WHAT CAN I EXERCISE?

Basic skills

At first there are basic technical skills like passing and taking the ball. The player can kick the football against the wall during different situations. In the process he can increase the severity by passing the ball using more pressure. The passing speed gets faster and the reaction of the player can be optimized more and more. The same applies to the taking the ball. During this exercise the player should always use the right and the left foot alternatively. Thus the two footed skills of a player can be effectively trained. The player automates and improves his technical skills as well as the sequences of movements at the same time. He can touch the football 1000 times within 10 minutes; meaning it is possible to touch the ball 500 times with the ‘weak’ foot.

Dribbling / Goal shots

It is possible to develop technical skills like dribbling and goal shots using the fritzplatz. By intorudcing poles and cones it is possible to combine dribbling with passing or goal shots. The player dribbles through the cones and passes the ball against the wall. A competition can be introduced with two groups using these exercises side by side.

Fritzball®

The game fritzball is another training option for technical skills. Two or more players pass the ball over a net placed in the court centre. In this way the players can manage 8-10 difficult situations within only 5 minutes. These situations are very challenging for the player!
There is a net at the height of 94 cm stretched from one side to the other and as when playing tennis the 2 or 4 football players have to play the ball over the net. After crossing the net the football first has to touch the ground before colliding with the concrete wall. If the football first touches the ground and then the fence this is considered as an error. The player has 3 free personal contacts and 1 free ground contact per rally.
Depending on the individual players strength the handicap can be changed. Results will be counted as in volleyball. Only the server can reach a point. A set ends when one of the players reaches 15 points.

EFFECTIVE TRAINING OG TECHNICAL SKILLS MEANS

retrying over and over again in a short period of time, no interruptions chasing or looking for the football. Speed can be adjusted according to the player’s performance. There is no distraction due to waiting periods during the exercise. The player has fun and can see his successes..

FOR WHOM?

Actually every football player should exercise on this court. However the players that need it most are the ones with striking deficits in their technical skills. These players complete additional units on the fritzplatz in order to catch up on the other player’s performance level. This dramatically improves the game skills as well as the quality throughout the entire team.

The player’s ball control, the speed of taking and passing a ball improve optimally.

Former injured players looking at being reintegrated into the team training can refresh their technical skills without risking a new injury. They can even design and carry out training by themselves for their specific injury.

This court also offers a great opportunity for players wanting to exercise their technical skills even more, without losing power.

Another aspect is training the weak foot. Great success can be achieved here in a very short time.

Another advantage is that you can exclude the strength/power component and therefore pure technical skills can be trained. The ideal time for this special training is the day before a match or the day after a match, for regeneration reasons. The player can absolve his exercises before or after team training without losing strength.
